Project365 #16 - Coffee, knitting, people watching.

Meeting friends for coffee on Saturdays pretty much became a habit ever since I’ve moved back to Reading and with being ill and all this snow drama I’m trying to get that back on track. Starbucks is still the best place for me to knit!

Current knitting project? Yet another scarf!

Project365 #16 - The last time we’ll see the snow?

I was going to take a better picture yesterday and even had the perfect motive, but ended up being busy all evening [playing games with my housemate, shush!] and going to bed at 10pm. I woke up at 1am at which point it was obviously too late!

Moral of the story? Take more pictures throughout the day to have something better than this!

Project365 #14 - 360 controller.

I felt like I needed some picture for this post on game completion and after ruling out taking a picture of my current game collection as it would have involved moving it for better lighting I decided on this. It’s moments like this that make me want to have a proper camera so I could play around with the focus and angles a bit more.

Project365 #13 - 1vs100.

Playing 1vs100 on Xbox Live with @IFS7 and I beat him. Naturally!

It’s been a bit of a strange day which is probably due to lack of sleep. Gutted the snow returned, too, as that cancelled my cinema plans to the ‘Nine’.

Project365 #12 - Rats!

Only ten metres away from this spot and there are significantly less of them which is probably due to the cold. Can someone explain to me why Reading has seagulls as it’s around 50 miles away from the sea?

[And yes, I’ve left the house today!]

My Giraffe. [Can you tell I’ve still not left the house?! That’s going to change from tomorrow onwards though as the snow’s finally melting.]

Project365 #10 - Splinter Cell Double Agent.

I’ve been playing this a lot again over the last few months after pretty much ignoring since a month after launch. It’s a great game and a nice alternative to shooters of which I’ve become quite bored of at least in multiplayer gaming.

Poject365 #9 - @satscenes - In which there’s plenty of mulled wine!

Bought these mulled wine sachets in May and never used them until recently as I always thought it was too much effort! Turns out it’s surprisingly simple and tonight was the third time I made it. The whole flat now smells like a christmas market!

Project365 #8 - Will I ever?

I’ve been trying to read Dan Brown’s latest book ever since its release, but for some reason it never grabbed me fully and, at times was almost painful. I’ve been trying to carry on reading it in the past few days and it’s still not all that much better. 100 pages in, here’s hoping it’ll improve!

Project365 #7 - The GTA achievement!

After over a year and a half [albeit without a console for 14 months] I have finally completed the GTA IV single player campaign. During my first playthrough shortly after the game’s release I got stuck on the finally mission [that freaking jump!] and it took me several attempts now on my second playthrough, too. I believe I’ve done the first part of that mission about 50 times..

Project 365 #6 - Part of yesterday’s shopping trip, a large thermos cup. I’ve been wanting one of these for years and already couldn’t imagine living without it again!
