GTA IV - Day 1 - 3pm

The car handling has improved a lot. There is a much more noticeable difference when driving an SUV compared to a station wagon or a sports car. On the other hand though, the cars and especially bikes slide far too much at times. Driving across a park is almost impossible, but then again I never tried it with a decent off road car.

The bike handling takes getting used to. Just after the last post I attempted the next mission which involved chasing a guy on a bike and I failed it a couple times. I think that was partly due to the bike though as the bike I stole from them later was a lot easier to navigate.

  • The floating newspapers are gone. Finally! There is rubbish and broken things on some roads which move when driving over them.
  • It’s possible to use small things, such as bricks as melee weapons or to throw them through windows.
  • The talking GPS in some of the cars is a nice touch.
  • I am a bad person. Jack Thompson would call me evil..
  • There is some great stuff on TV, like the advert with the dog or some TV shows, such as ‘America’s next top hooker’.
  • I parked a stolen car somewhere and someone stole it from me!

The internet is brilliant!

  • Shitster.com - a since shutdown P2P site.
  • Blogs.
  • Photosharing sites.
  • Youtube sites including ‘This video has been flagged as inappropriate’.
  • ‘MyRoom’ - MySpace. ‘A place for anonymous friends, clothing and spelling optional’.
  • Travel websites. ‘European countries believe that they are much more important than they actually are. Humor them. They have tiny plots of land - we have 50 countries in our US of A.’
  • ‘Craplist’
  • You can date women from the internet..
  • Dragon Brain - The movie’

And soo much more!
